I am told that is it a 'Proper' FSX model, so it should be great in FSX but will never run in FS9. I have the Flight Replica earlier FS9 model and it is very good, but does not give you a 2 seater :-(

Ah, thanks for clearing this up, I'm now very tempted to buy if I have any "monthly FS-budget" pennies left after buying the Skysim Hawk.

I wish developers would cotton on to the fact that what sim it was designed for is of paramount importance to most of us using FSX; labelling it as native/compatible and letting us know which version of FSX it is actually designed for as I know some developers prefer FSX SP1. A few have started giving us quite a detailed breakdown but some still simply list it as "works in FSX" which makes me very wary as I'm always worried about being stung by a non FSX native model and suffering awful frame rates.

Well I've just picked this up anyway and I'm very impressed. Certainly a "does exactly what it says on the tin" addon and for the price you can't complain. It sounds good, looks good, and is great fun to fly. I've no idea how accurate the flight dynamics are but they certainly feel as I'd imagine the Me-262 would handle, at high speeds it's a dream to fly but at low speeds can depart into a rather vicious stall if you pile on too many G's. My only gripe is that the glass in the REVI reflector sight is a bit dark on my system, it's very very hard to see through at all, and the "B" model defaults to a back seat viewpoint. Oh, and there are no multitudes of nice wing views or chase views included as eyepoints as we've come to expect from FSX addons, just one set at the tail.

Now, to find some interesting liveries to paint! I believe there was a "B" model that was captured and wore RAF roundels for a time, I'll see if I can find some source material on it.

self shadowing and bump maps give it away for fsx right away, no need to plaster that its native all over it as it already says for FSX.

Hi Guys

I can thoroughly recommend this model.

been flying it for a few days and it's a real corker.

Well done Mike, another superb rendition and even better than the FS9 model

Regards
Rick

And as I've already explained "it already says for FSX" makes no difference whatsoever when you've got the likes of Just Flight selling things as "for FSX" when they aren't FSX native and are just FS9 portovers.
