Will this aeroplane ever see the light of day for us mere mortals?
It does get a little annoying that those in the clique keep posting
screenshots and saying how good the aeroplane is to fly.
It would be nicer if you just kept quiet on your beta testing. It
does smack of gloating that the chosen have it and the great unwashed haven't.

I enjoy all the screenshots and looking at it and what not but I WANT TO FLY THE
BUGGER.

We''ll be in FS13 by the time this thing is released.

There is no such thing as a clique....beta test team but no clique

I am working as fast as I can.......no gloating either..If I don't post them I get asked why there is no update and has the project stalled.

Perhaps you would like me to release it unfinshed so everyone can state the obvious??

Steve,

That sort of chat is totally uncalled for. There is no more of a clique than with any other model made by the guys on here. Rick would be the first to tell you that his Hawk has been in gestation almost as long as the Freighter, and this from one of the most experienced model makers out there.

Garry has been working diligently, not just learning FSDS, but researching all of the super freighter varients to the nth degree, position of pax door as moded for a few aircraft on a particular airline etc.

Couple with this we have had issues with the FD, and rest assure several people are working with him to make this as acurate as possible.

Until you have picked up the tools yourself, please do not come here a berate a man who has worked tirelessly on this project for over a year, I'm sorry mate, but that kind of post really pisses me off... smacks of ignorance. :@

Thanks for that Ben :)

Steve

It has to be understood what makes our project what they are

Research and the time needed to try and do the job properly

This has been a very difficult subject to research as the info is just not readily availiable and I have spent hours sometimes looking up small details.the last machine was broken up in 1975.

I am at the moment in contact with personel from two operations that used to fly it trying to pull details in.

I have been trying to whip up interest here as I still need help.

There is over a months work just painting it.

I am still working with the instruction book in one hand............and you might recall I had a major problem with compiling and had to rebuild the whole model without losing any detail.

On top of the there is extensive FDE work.the original FDE was rejected due to single engine performance.....how many freeware project would bother to get an FDE that close??

Fraser has spent many hours producing the panel and the soundset is being created at the moment.

This is dominating my life at present and it is sometimes hard to be entusiastic, so the break from that while I test it and take screenshots is as much to keep me entused as anyone else

But I could soon get pissed off with such negative atitudes.

And on more thing..I spend hours helping anyone I can who asks for it.

I hold nothing back

Don't EVER accuse me of being involved with a clique.........we are a team........that is all.

I, for one, know that Garry has lost sleep trying to get this project right......

As with all projects that are on-going right now, they will be released when they are ready....however long that takes.

Posting a screenshot shows the developer is making progress and wants to share...

Giving the benefit of doubt Steve, I'll assume your post was tongue-in-cheek.

A 'clique' we are not.

'Nuff said.

First things first. That's one hell of a shot sir... a real beauty :welldone: :welldone: :welldone:

Kind regards as always

John

Ps @ Steve... I'm sure there's a good reason for such an immediately ignorable post... bad day, problems off site...who knows but if you've nothing nice to say... say nothing!

Cheers John

Just one of those things...I was up checking stuff out and the RRW at the time was giving really nice light and colour.

So I thought I'd just capture it and post :)

All I had to do was set up the angle and framing.
