Maybe the textures are clear but his evasive maneuver has made them appear blurred.

Cetrainly need to watch the spleling!
For some reason, that BA texture always takes an age to load and looks like a smear....... but it's about the only time the aircraft are close enough together to appear in the one shot.....
So much for my formation flying....

Mucking around with the spot view, I converted the textures to DXT3 without mipmaps. The 'Trident 3' on the tail and (at times) part of the BA logo still has a blur even at 1/4 speed to give it time to load. Very odd, I don't remember it as horrible as that!

Jim, did you back up the textures before you converted them? You need to always start with the full 32bit textures as once they have ben converted down, you can't convert them back up to a higher quality.
I would try downloading the textures again, and this time generate them "With Mips" and ensure mipmaping is allowed on your graphics card.
