Had a great day at Duxford.......And i did this......... :flying:
Loads more piccies to follow and a great movie of the flight.....Dave B i am sure you know what A/C it is.....

Wonderful photos Tony, may be wrong but looked like a bit of rain to the right of the 2nd picture, either that or the cloud base was lower. Hoped you had a good day.

What a lovely old bird....and what a great flight in her......all for 32 quid.....a bargain.......

Not at all bad. Last time I had a Rapide flight at Duxford was around 1996 in the same aircraft, and I seem to remember it was £25 then. £7 increase in 10 years in't bad going.

That went up to £30 for adults and £25 for children then they abolished the childrens fare. I suppose it helps with running costs as well as keeping adult fares down but it's rather pricey if you want to take the sprog along too :-(

The child fare is actually still there

, I know because Tony needed someone to carry his bags for him whilst there and insisted in calling me his 'maid'. Bloody cheek! I look nothing like his maid!
