Classic British Flight Sim

Hi chaps, sorry I havent been on much in the last year or so, life's a lot busier than it used to be! Finally realised a lifelong ambition of flying a real plane. Went for a trial lesson in a Piper PA-28 from Wellesbourne-Mountford. Flight lasted about 1hr 10mins for which I flew most of it (which I was surprised by, considering how little driving I did on my first driving lesson 7 years ago!):

Did pass over the M5 at one point but we were to the north of Staverton at all times so I dont think its what you are thinking of if we are on the same wavelength ;-)

A bit of "local.live.com"-ing and I am 99.9% certain that actually its not Gloucs buts Worcs and thats actually Great Malvern at the foot of the hill....

So we've established that you didn't have any trouble flying the plane - but your navigation needs a bit of work

Naviwhat? The Warrior is older than me by a few years (so I discovered on GINFO this afternoon) and I am quite tempted, although its not cheap and I cant imagine the current oil prices are going to help me in the coming weeks and months!

Well done and congratulations, Toby! :flying: That is one pristine Piper, too!

If you have any doubts about taking further lessons, my only advice is to ignore them. After your first taste at the controls, that little voice in the back of your head will never ever let you live down the desire to fly again.

I vividly recall my first lesson at 15. Just wait until your first solo. It'll take a week for your feet to touch the ground afterwards...
