OK heres a tough one......

My new card is HUGE......It cannot fit properly into the case on the MoBo into the PCIe x16 slot......!

The 2 sata cables stop it seating properly..... :o

I have 6 slots for sata HDD and my question is......?

Can i move the cables onto , say slots 5 and 6 instead of 1 and 2...?

And how do i tell the bios to boot from that specific slot...?

I tried it and on start up it couldn't read any HDD's...?

Very confused here....? HELP

Tony

Have your sata cable got a right angle connector on one end? If it's not already, try that end on the mobo.

I haven't bothered to identify the SATA slots on my PC - just plugged them into the convenient ones.

In the BIOS under "Boot" or similar you should be able to identify the relevant hard disk and tell it to boot from that one.
