Might be of interest to us UK folks......I just read that 748 ops carry on as of the 20th of march.....

G-AYIM has been restored to flying condition for use by Janes Aviation based out of Southend....

Formally an Emerald Airframe...... :thumbsup:

Virginblue, I may run out of time, but don't think there's a shortage of 748 liveries out there ;-) When an aircraft's been in service for that long it'll have seen a good few coats of paint.

And Tony as for running 748s commercially in 2008 :think: I'll stick with our ATRs :thumbsup:

And here's a couple more been working on. Those Indian aircraft are elusive, finally found a Flight magazine from 1980 with a colour photo on the cover and b&w of the other side inside.

Love those Canadian ones. NW Canada / Alaska is an area I am specifically 'developing' with scenery, airports and whatnot, so those repaints will very welcome indeed.
