Typical RAF Objects Library

Hi All,

I'm looking for an objects library of buildings typical of 1960-1990 RAF airfields, e.g. hangers, HAS, general buildings etc - does anyone know of such a library? I've got Instant Scenery but it's libraries are depresingly free of objects typically found in the UK.

Kind Regards,
Chris

There is a load of stuff released on AVSIM this week. All RAF builds, Towers, Hangers etc. There is a post somewhere too. Should be noted they are for FSX though as the textures are dds fiormat.

Hi Chris,

You could try going on to: -
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/

and doing a search for Cees Donker

Hope this helps,

Graham

Thanks chaps. Avsim file library isn't playing at the moment so I'll try later. I've had a brief on Sim Outhouse and taken a look at Cees' website - FS2004 stuff but the Honnington objects may be useful.

Kind Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,

If you do a search on AVSIm (when its back up) for Ted Andrews and sort the results by date, his stuff was released the other week. Excellent stuff, all GMAX with DDS images meaning very very low impact on frames. He's a great bloke, very friendly.

I e-mailed Ted yesterday and he says he will be releasing the buildings for FS9; he just needs the time to convert them.

Great news!!

Best wishes

Nige
