I bought her about 30 minutes ago and, let me tell you, she's fabulous. The VC is wonderful and frames friendly and the sound pack is very nice (pump up the volume, though). Modeling is top notch and she flies like a dream :flying: . Without a doubt, she's a 'gotta have'. Oh, and the price is a real bargain, too. Golden Age have produced a real winner. :welldone: :welldone:

Well I just bought it too...Well this flies like a real aeroplane...Absolutely outstanding...What a joy! and what great value for money :dancer:

How nice to feel that this is not money wasted. I have just made a very nice recording of it co-ordinated with the Traffic at McLeland Field and it works and looks so good that I think I will turn it into a video :flying:

Peter,

If you haven't already done so, you might like to try their Waco Taperwing and New Standard D25A freeware packages at avsim, and other usual suspects. Just search for Golden Age, or D25A or Taperwing!

The D25A is listed as being FSX, but is quite happy to tolerate us FS9 dinosaurs.

Thanks Alan...Here is a little video I made of my second flight in the Waco F:-

It streams very well and does not have to buffer on my machine...Just a bit of fun mixing with my Traffic at peak time at my base :dancer:

BTW...you need the sound on :)

Hi peter
Nice plane, nice flying and nice video.
I should think the FAA would like to interview you on a number of subjects after that!

BTW that hill on the approach to 31 looks quite high, do you not require a displaced threshold there?

Love your work
Good luck CHEERS
Steve

Peter, just viewed your video and found it brilliant, though I had been expecting during one of your beatups of the runway to do a sloooow barrel roll, quite miffed that you didn't I was!!

Nigel,

I'll wait till "Bandit Enterprises" have done a few mods on it for display purposes...Aerobatic Carburettor having the highest priority. Engine cutting as you pass through inverted is really quite off putting at low altitude although a properly executed Barrel Roll would keep it going. I've never included a barrel roll in my solo displays as I preferred the normal slow roll, which can be kept lower. I did of course do hundreds of barrel rolls in Formation Aerobatics as it is really the only type possible while formating. Anyway, thanks for watching my 7 minutes of joy and I'm glad you liked it...I also burned a DVD version in Higher Res which looks really beautiful in full screen or on the Telly...It should do as it took over 2 hours to Render at that resolution with my software :flying:

:doho: Of course, silly me, carburretor!! Should have realised that!! :brick:

Thanks Peter, will look forward to seeing another when Bandit Enterprise beef it up.

Nigel.
