Classic British Flight Sim

Its been some time since ive done an update, finaly ive got some information through about the ranges, sadly the info only covered Wainfleet and Tain... Not the other two... Im also writing a readme with target discriptions and also the headings for each target.

As a bonus from the info provided ive now included RAF Tain!!! This range is the most complex of all the RAF air weapons ranges!

You can see all targets in the picture below... Summary of the targets are as follows,
Starting in the top left corner, this area is Target 6 (The Tank Park), cosisting of a group of APC's and tanks, A bridge with convoy of APC's, Railway Station and a Railway engine and wagons which are moved every so oftern, also in this area is Target 8 (The AAA Site), consisting of a mock AAA gun, control vehicle and berms.

Between the sand coloured berms and the top middel of the image is two targets, Target 1 (The Radar Target) consisting of 3 container in a step fashion. Can just be see about 1/3 the way across. Also nearby is Target 9 (The Chieftains), these are two tanks positioned in the open ground.

Barely makeable is Target 3 (Visual Target), it consists of a large red round target inside a circle of barrels. visible is the lead in lines of markers to this target.

Near the top right hand side is Target 4 (Strafe Targets), this consists of three panels, with lead in lines and also a 40ft arrow (at the bottom right).

Also im doing a weapons pack 2 (Plus update for pack 1)... This pack is mainly the duds with some others included... So far ive got 4x Mk-80 series with the extended fuse and 1000lb Inert in blue. Im hopefully going to do an effect update for the cluster bombs.

More RAF Tain pictures... This is closer to the northern side of the range... This range is near enough finished, just a few minor adjustments needed.


To the left of the Tornado is the railway complex, including a bridge, convoy, AAA site and railway station.
Just off the tail fin tip is the Conqueror tank.
About an inch up from the nose cone is the two Cheiftans.
To the far right of the Tornado is the lead in line to the visual target.
Near the right top is another lead in line, smaller white objects compaired to the other lead in line, this line terminates with a cross in a circle for heavy practice/inert bombs.
Hardly visible to the right of the Cheiftans is the radar target.
Out of image to the right is the strafe panels and to the left is the train target.

Yet again another update, but hopefully the last addition to the ranges... This one will please you dragons and Vally flyers! Pembrey sands range is now included!
