Autogen??? How to get rid in certain areas?

Hi all... its something to do with the range scenery, but basically ive got problems with autogen trees being in the way of objects im wanting to place... and they look od with trees all over the object areas... Is there a way of getting rid in a certain area or something?

Hi,
You didn't mention if this was for FS2004 or FSX. In FS2004 I use ExcBuilder to create the exclude bgl files. You need to exclude ALL OBJECTS to get rid of autogen. And make sure you press the spacebar while in slew mode to point true north before defining the exclude rectangle within FS.

SbuilderX is capable of making exclusion rectangles for FSX

Gave it a whirl and didnt like it... I cant get it to compile let alone do something worthwhile... Any others about?

The program i used to place the objects has an exclude feature but even this doesnt work... How do i do excludes to exclude the autogen?

Erm.. I don''t think it's the programs fault ;-)
T'is the one I've used, and sorry that I can't point you in any other direction.... other maybe than take a look or pop a question over at FSDeveloper?

Ive had a look over there and got another program but that was no help either... Just trying my program again...

Ah great got excludes to work, just the wrong stuff excluded... All objects in the area except the darn autogen!!! Figures... :roll:
