I've watched it several times myself

Looking closley at it to identify

The only ones flying then in that livery were J,P and S.....plus M in Elan/DHL

The name looks too long to be Ajax or Superb but about right for Swiftsure

I think it's G-APES....but I can't be sure. :dunno:

Sri mate.. I wasn't looking that hard. Just enjoying the sound of 4 Tynes with 2 lovely whiney aircon units attached :tunes:

Here's an odd one for you.. the CURATOR has asked if we'll do an engine run in FEB!! :o :o :o :o I get an overwhelming feeling he'll be told to naff off as the amount of times we've asked to do one and been told NO.. is above and beyond the call of duty. As they say in the trade.. watch this space! :-#

Using freeze frame and zoom in :dancer: ....just going into sad git mode :worried: ....can't tell in normal viewing

That is very similar to the shot I told you about the other day when I filmed G-APEP over Hatton Cross in June 1993 :D

Similar lighting just mine was a little more overhead.

I wish I could find that tape :-(

Be great if you do getting her running.........Feb though, might need to give each engine a squirt of WD40

Nice Vid Garry! I've not seen that before.

That sounds very similar to Darts. Normally I can tell the difference easily, but there is a lot of whine there. As Dave says, must be 2 Air con units on that one.

Boy.. how many times have I watched this vid now?? Too many to list

Realised a few 'views' ago that it probably IS ES. EP has a white leading edge to her fin and ES doesn't. Picking up from what Chris said.. if he can here two compressors, then it almost certainly is ES as EP only had one.. plus of course, the length of the name on the nose ;-)

Dunno who the crew were on that day but they either had a 'snag' or the landing checklist wasn't done correctly. Note.. no landing lights on.. just the nose
