The last Vanguard built, CF-TKW was sold to Europe Aero Service and initially retained it Canadian registry.

The first of the type to serve with the airline it also became the last in 1981 before sale to MNA.

With MNA it made the last fare paying passenger Vanguard flight anywhere before being sold back to EAS as a spares source to support the Inter Cargo operation. The delivery flight from Jakarta to Perpignan was the last flight of a non freight Vanguard.

Merci beaucoup mon amie :dancer:

Not quite sure why it retained th CF- but my guess was awaiting type certification in France.

This completes my "Red Vanguard" set........for now :worried:

I do have another two similar but different countries plus another two Vanguard and a Merchantman paint.

They will take a back seat as I want to get back to the modelling that realworld, Christmas and then a stuffy head cold kept me off for a while...although I still have a low res monitor that does not anti alias properly. :-( :'(

Never mind :)
