Well, I got some approach lights at @ 250ft on the altimeter which makes it @ 130ft agl taking into account the airfield elevation. Very scary! The old girl behaved faultlessly on the approach though.

John,
Just goes to show how good active sky etc are now, we've been up to our waists in snow for a month, and over the last week the temp went sky high, thick fog and nearly all the snow has melted, today the powers out and my basement is filling with water, so it's out with the generator and looks as if I'll not be going to work today.
Good old weather in Canada.
BTW CYUL (dorval) changed name last year to (Pierre eric Trudeau) PET for short.
Robbie.

Robbie, i'am in the same boat here down the road in ottawa. funny thing two nights ago we had a lighting storm during the fog, very weird. got two pumps working in the basement and praying todays high winds don't knock out the power. well the temp i due to go down tonight -5 or 6.
how's the leg after that horse fell on you, no long lasting pain from that i hope.

Hi Dave nice to hear from you,
power back on now but a bloody mess, lost a couple of roof tiles tonight and didn't get to work today, damn I was on a course as well, so would have had a ball sitting on my derriere all night.
Recovered pretty well thanks, but won't be able to ride again due to nerve damage, never mind, I built a wagon for the summer and now I'm starting to refurbish a 1850 sleigh for the winter months, jingle bells jingle bells....
