Hawker Hunter repaint request
Posted: 03 Jan 2008, 01:46
I am looking at getting a pair of Jordanian Hawker Hunters repainted for use in a FS Film (not for profit, obviously) on the defection of a MiG-21 from Iraq to Israel in 1966. The MiG-21 was intercepted by a pair of Hawker Hunters from the Royal Jordanian AF en route to Israel, but believed the Iraqi MiG-21 to be friendly, and simply waggled their wings. Part of this film will feature the interaction, and a brief formation flight. Preferably I would like to have two similar but unique RJAF Hunters using the aircraft created by Dave Garwood, Dave Booker, Saverio Maurri, & Rick Piper. The majority of the RJAF Hunters featured the standardized British camouflage with the RJAF markings. There were a few variants to this, and do not necessarily need to be represented. As far as the "differences" if it just consists of changing the tail number "K" to "N" and/or the Arabic numbering, that is fine. I do hope to show these aircraft in formation with the MiG-21 and each other, so I am wanting it done well (hence the reason I'm not doing it...I'm lacking in the computer-talent department).

Credit will obviously given to the work that the repainter invests, and links can be posted to a website if desired. I'm simply asking on here, as the gentleman who created the model appears to have changed emails, and unfortunately none of my other contacts really felt that they could do it. If someone is willing, I would be extraordinarily grateful. Please let me know, and I will be happy to provide whatever resources available to assist. Thank you to those who read this for the time invested, and I hope to hear soon.
