Am I right in saying that these aircraft and airline flew out of Luton many years ago, prehaps late 70's, as I was taken my flying lesson's there, when they had a grass strip for Luton Flying Club and I'm sure I had to wait sometimes for them to T/O or Land/on, before I could proceed, :flying:

Yes they did fly out of Luton with pax but this freighter was mainly out of the airline's base at Manston.

BTW mate.....can you do something about your signiture pic which is about ten times too big. :o

NT did visit Luton occasionally - we diverted to LTN one foggy morning in 1977 and found ourselves parked on the Ponderosa
next to her

By the way did they still Have G-ASUE flying at the LFC when you were there??
