Anyone else on here fly RC aircraft,

Just bought an RC Helicopter for something to do, good fun but very hard to fly!

Just wondered if anyone else on here flys or knows how to fly them!

I've got a Align T-rex (electric heli) but as I'm still learning myself I can't offer much in the way of advice

Get some training gear if you haven't got some already, it could save you some cash in the long run. Don't try anything fancy until you can get a stable hover. Don't rush it.
Make sure it's set up properly, blades balanced and correctly trimmed.
It is hard work at first, but very rewarding :)

Well the one that I bought was only £20 so if it goes "down" then at least I wont have lost a great deal.

Finally getting it to hover correctly, has taken much practice and a LOT of swearing.

Thankfully the blades are coated with thin rubber as its already gone straight into the sofa at least once (We have a pretty big Living Room)

Didn't make myself too popular with my folks when it hovered over our coal fire (not lit at the time) and promptly spread ashes over the fireplace!
