Cannot get rid of new messages notification!

I am forever being told I have two new PM's, despite being read and the actual messages being deleted. I have tried logging off and back on again but without sucsess! Any ideas other than dump all my inbox contents?

Have you got any "stuck" PMs?
If your inbox if full when a new message arrives, it won't appear. You need to delete some, then release the "stuck" messages as they won't go into the inbox automatically.
Have a look at the top of your inbox page.

I suppose you could try deleting the CBFS Cookie....sometime fixes oddities

I deleted all messages AND cookies and still have the message about 2 new messages, grrrrrrrr
