Hi Chaps :)

I've been on the lookout for a decent Brussels National (EBBR) scenery for yonks and stumbled over Brussels X at the Aerosoft site.. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/re/ib ... owd,,10440

Having bought it a few days ago and done a handful of VA flights there.. I can recommend it. Plenty of detail.. great textures and it runs fine on my XP3200+. As a bonus, you get both FS9 and FSX versions ;-) The only thing I've not been able to do is get the docks to move onto the aircraft so maybe they don't.. or maybe it's me

Hi Ben,

I honestly don't know mate. The manual for it isn't exactly extensive and gives more detail about Brussels itself than it does the scenery!! The only things I can find pertenant to the scenery are the ILS freq's :o All the bays have working lights and to be honest, this is all I need as the Trident's come with their own steps anyway. Smashing bit of scenery though and on par with current payware standards ;-) Not tried it in FSX yet mate :cpu:

If anyone out there has this scenery and knows how to make the docking piers move (if they do).. let me know ;-)

Not that I know it, but a reasonable guess might be that the model has to have its exists defined (in FSX that is) other wise the sim do not know where to move to...

Hi Dave,

I think you need THIS. I seem to remember PeterMc posted something about this feature. Not sure how many credits you need to buy to fully unlock EBBR but quick look through the decription it looks like you'll get 10 mins free before it turns itself off.

Oh!

I see that EBBR is 3 credits so I'll be stopping on the apron somewhere with my hazard flashers on and pretend I'm a mother on a school run

Tks for that John. Can't see me buying any credits though I may download the prog at some point as it seems to be free :)

You might have to have the 'Airport Enhancement Services' add-on from Aerosoft to make the air bridges move toward the aircraft. I've read that it's that way for Aerosoft's Heathrow airport. I don't own AES but it looks pretty slick. :) Here's a video. http://www.aerosoft2.de/videos/AES_Arrival.wmv

Hi Brian,

Yup.. this would appear to be the case though it's not mentioned in the blurb for the airport itself. There are a handful of nondescript airports as freebies included with AES that allow all this posh stuff to happen.. Gib is one (and I have it too!) and I've downloaded the latest version so I may pop and see how it works :)
