Hacked Off

The FlyNet client has stopped working on me numerous times over the last couple of days. On my last flight from EGLL to EGPF in the DC3 it quit working on final approach.

I have uninstalled and re-installed and trawled the forum but it still stops working, Im sure its due to Windows Vista and connection problems with my wireless router, whole can of worms!

I was hoping Flynet would be a good replacement for VATSIM flying as neither SB3 or FSInn work on my computer (despite what the FSInn boffins might say).

Just incase, is anyone else aware of any FlyNet probs ATM?

Johnny

Hi Johnny,

If you've not already done so try turning the FlyNET tracker off. It's in the FlyNET config file in C:\Windows. Change tracker=1 to tracker=0 and see if that helps.

Unfortunately no answers here either.
I'm certainly having no probs at the moment with Flynet

Will give that a try and see what happens.

Thanks

Johnny

PS, Just completed a flight, worked smoothly with tracker off. Funny though there was no problem with all my previous flights until just a few days ago.

your not the only one having problems. having last month complete two flights of over an 1hr, and now trapped to nothing more than 30mins. everything goes fine until about the 30mins and it shuts down everything. always the same message flynet.exe has to shut down due to internal problems. then it fires off the message to MS and restart the game. so your not alone.
