We would have to be pretty quick Jonesey...If you look at the numbers in that document and the fact that McLeland Field is only 1.6 feet AMSL! I have to admit that I chose a bad site all those years ago when I was flying slowly around this coast looking for a place to build my base All I can say is thank God for Holger Sandmann

Disenchantment Bay...what an evocative name. I wonder who's hopes ended in despair in that far place.

The Hubbard glacier is behind the Baron and you can see the gap with that small island in it (muraine debris I imagine)...I have placed a small light tower on it
