HS 748 Engine Shutdown Problem

Gentlemen,
For some reason, when I fly the HS 748 and get up around FL200, the engines shutdown. There are no annunciator warning lights on before this happens. Perhaps I'm just missing something in the POM.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike,
The most obvious answer here is to check your heating is on.. fuel, engine e t c. At FL200, low temps are gonna be the most likely cause of engine failure on this old lady

Hi MIke
Welcome aboard
As Dave says fuel heaters are the main cause of flaming out at that heght.
20,000 is very high for a 748 flight almost unheard of in real world operations except perhaps in transit.
There is a 748 support thread that covers this and other problems

Mike
There are other issues that cause engine flame out besides fuel heaters, go to the 748 thread this matter was covered in depth by DaveB on 5th July 2006.
I had the same problems but the instructions given were 1st class and issue was resolved.
