OK you fine folks out there i am really stuck :$
I need some hints and tips from you guys who know how to really "weather" an airframe as i am stuck on releasing my Bucc and would like some help if anyone would be so kind :)

I know some of you like to keep this sort of thing close to your hearts and i have also read the simmers guide to weathering but still cannot get things just right.....

Hopefully thanks in advance :)
I use PSP9

dulled colours and show where it's been in the sun by airbrushing a faint yellow colour in patches on a new layer and setting the layer effect to 'overlay' or 'multiply' then opacity to taste.

Adding a little self-coloured noise can look nifty as well.

Dirt, patchy paint all help just with airbrushing.

Nah, just take it out and dump it in a nice muddy field with lots of overgrown weeds and leave it for a few years.

Ok. I'll get my coat.
