Altitude Concorde

HI all

Not sure if this is the correct place to post on this one: whilst up in Town today, a call into Gamestation (ostensibly looking for FS9 without luck so far)
did produce the 'Altitide Concorde' add on for 99p........

I've got the hang of getting it up and running, (quite a long winded engine start procedure) and take-offs so far.... but for some reason the A/C goes into an uncontrollable spin and 29,000 feet. Each time it has done this, I have had an overspeed alarm immediately followed by a rapid pitch to the left and nose down, then a stall warning!!!! Speed on the climb is .9mach at this point.

Just curious to know if anyone has had a similar experience?

Jim

Hi

No experience of Concorde sims as such but I do know that as per rl the sim versions must have the C of G correct by transferring fuel at different stages of flight. My guess is the acft is outside it's C of G envelope which is causing the probs. Check the manual regarding this and I'm sure you may find an answer.

Rgds

Thanks John,

You may well be onto something. I have transferred the not inconsiderable pages of instruction onto data key for printing with someone else's ;-) toner tomorrow.... it's virtually impossible to look at the sodding things and remember while in the 'hot' seat...... :lazy:

Absolutely fantastic sounds on the takeoff mind you.... :welldone: :tunes:

Have I time for one more shift+f4 before hitting the sack???? ;-)

Jim,

there are a few not inconsequecial patches for this one. The last one (which ,akes a heal of a difference) is actually an upgrade to a new version (you have to pay for the upgrade) as altitude don't do the model any more and it goes buy some other name.

Thanks Guys :)

A little bit of hunting around later for the patches I think, in the meantime I shall content myself with some loud ups and downs... ;-)
