I've already purchased. It seems to hit my frame rates incredibly hard, far more than similarly detailed FS9 scenery does. However all FSX addon scenery does this to me so I assume it's something to do with the simulator and a not a slight on the developers. The scenery itself is very good and it's made FSX somewhat flyable for the odd jolly, however I'll still only keep FSX installed for beta testing; FS9 will be the simulator I'll continue to use until there is UK2000/Scotflight equivalent coverage over the entire UK.

Although not a Scot.. I just live here, I did post when this was released. I think its very good (As usual from Iain) but I'm looking forward to the central belt and borders.. oh and Macrihanish (*sp)
The second volume is likely to be the end of the year, but this does a great job with the highlands and Islands.

I bought it straight away too Chris and like you, I have framerate issues with it. Most unusual for me is that the only addon scenery I have for FSX is Scotflight!! I thought it'd be nice to have somewhere to fly that wasn't default but the frame issue means I still don't use FSX and in any case.. you can only fly over Scotland (like most places I suppose) so many times before you get bored.
Oh.. it's not the only addon scenery for FSX I have. Just remembered I have a freeware Guernsey too.. and that hits my frames in a similar fashion  Neither me or my system/s are cut out for this FSX lark! ;-)
