I hadn't flown this in ages and I'd quite forgotten what a nice model it is and what a great noise it makes!
Kind regards
John

Thanks Dave
The closest we'll get now is when Peter Vallance fires his pair of Shaks up :-(
Kind regards as always

Beautiful pic!
Is there no chance of 'Mr McHenry' coming back to these shores then?

Fantastic Shot
The Shack is fast becoming one of my favourite fs planes, just down to the noise!
I would love to see one of these in real life.

I fly the freeware Shak, very occassionally... but it it had some paints say... as good as the Gannet ones  It'd take to the sky a whole lot more often
Kind regards
John

Interesting...As some of you might have read, I've been toying with the idea of doing Shak repaints, but as Dave pointed out, there isn't as much variety in schemes. Nevertheless, I don't think that would stop me from doing some, as have always had a soft spot for the old girl. If anyone can recommend a freeware model that would at least get me mulling it over more seriously. I can look of course, but the gurus on here would probably be the best place to start.
Steve
**EDIT: Just found my old friend Paul Foster's Shak and will be evaluating shortly...comments and recommendations still welcome.
