Can anyone please recommend a good set of water textures?
The ones I have round the UK look more than a tad tropical.

Funny you mention water Graham. I changed the originals a while ago and ended up with FS_Water (payware) that then got updated with Flight Environment (though to all intents.. the different sea/water textures are the same, being done by the same developer).
Problem for me is that I
still see that rubbish texture popping up from time to time even though it was supposed to have been moved. I can fly from Jer to Gue (not the longest of flights) and suddenly.. the dark blue textures will go to be replaced by that torquoise set you've shown :roll: No idea why the hell it happens (here's hoping someone out there knows)!

Could be!! How many times have you tried to land on water near to the coast in your flying boat and you get sparks coming off the water!!

Maybe it's polutants :think:

From what I recall, the is no change in the FPS, as it merely replaces the original tiles, with some improved ones. A change of colour doesn't change anything regarding to FPS.
However, listen to what daddy says and remember to back-up...
