The B-29 Washington and RAF Watton........

Whilst researching my project on 'forgotten aircraft of the RAF', I came across this site..................
http://www.rafwatton.info/History/TheWa ... fault.aspx Check out the 'Washington Times" articles, some of the best 1950's info I have ever come across.
This part is pretty much everthing you ever need to know about the RAF's B-29 Washington ops, and in particular the later ELINT ops. Great stuff on 'National Service' Air Gunners', recruited after all the WW2 guys were made redundant! What a way to spend National Service!
Plenty of other stuff on RAF Watton too. BTW a proper B-29 Washington is due for FS9 in the next few weeks!
