Heathrow to Glasgow with the Trident

Just finished setting up the New Graphic Card (Nvidia 7800GS) along with FS9!!

Having previously had the Nvidia FX5200 so this is a totally new experience for me.

Dave, you had mentioned on a previous post not to expect a huge increase in the frame rates........you were perfectly right, in some places I can be down quite a bit on the frame rate (depending on cloud settings etc) but it still responds smoothly.

With a Gripper you don't need to see it at all, just engage the Autoland and fly on down.

Isn't that scheme with the red wings just the BEST ever? Magic shots, brings back memories of 'commuting' to Berlin and back.

the 43.6 FPS is pretty impressive too! how much vram are u running on that 7800GS?

Hi mayagrafix sorry to show my ignorance on your question but if you mean the RAM as in memory I just have a one 1Gb stick.

That amount of FPS surprised me as well as flying from Heathrow it can be down to 15 - 23 FPS with only very slight judders when rotating then becomes smooth again.

I am still fiddling with the settings in FS as for it to run fully maxed out I would need another 1Gb of memory...............but try telling that to the wife!! :worried:

Hope that answers your question, if not, then give me a prod!!
