One to look out for....

After a recent flight from EGBE to a (very) wet Waddington for the Air Show I suggested to Tim Scharnop that he might like to produce a repaint for the MAAM SIM DC3 of the Air Atlantique Dakota G-AMPY in its RAF Transport Command livery.
Tim plans to upload it to AVSIM shortly but here's a preview....
Tim has also done a straight Air Atlantique livery for G-AMRA already at AVSIM....

Just thought... this could (?should) be in Payware or Repaints, I guess.

Watch for a fix on this one - the original file had the starboard side fin flash reversed.

I wish somebody would paint the default FSX Dak with one of these schemes

Don't know if anyone has seen this but apparently Air Atlantique are going to stop running the Dak for commercial flights following an EU ruling that says all passenger carrying aircraft have to conform to new rules that include lockable cockpit doors, weather radar (fat lot of good that would have done for my Waddington trip last year - we weren't far enough from the ground!), and other sundry things that mean AA cant justify keeping it in the area.
Sad day. I'm glad I got my trip in when I did.

Very Sad John
Knowing as with all things that the kill joys would end it somehow some day it still comes as a shock when it happens
I hope some sort of exemption can be found but somehow I doubt it :-(
