Demise of Trident 'PT

Although not by any mean a happy even.......nonetheless a picture of historic interest has appeared of BEA Trident 1C after being hit by BKS Ambassador G-AMAD..
Two Tridents were damaged....the other one being G-ARPI which was rebuilt only to crash later at Staines.
This one, was bought by Channel Airways and trucked to Southend for spares use.
Just how much use it was, damaged and with a different wing, interior and cockpit fit...... Channel had 1E-140's...... only Channel Airways knows.
