Config Warning Gauge

Hi Chaps,

That clever chap Fraser has made a gauge to help the new pilots avoid getting hit with groundspeed and landing light penalties.

Image

There two lamps, one for landing lamp warning and the other a speed warning. The former will flash if takeoff is commenced with landing lamps off, climbing through 9500 agl with them on, or descending through 1500ft
agl without lamps.. Likewise the speed lamp flashes on the ground if taxy speed exceeds 20kt g/s or in the air below 10000ft agl if speed exceeds 245kt.

Either lamp may be pulled to isolate the warnings

The gauge can be downloaded from HERE

Fraser has included a readme but if any of you have a question or a problem installing it, post here

Speaking od Clever stuff... is there a clever way to work out the coordinates on the panel bitmap? :dunno:

Not really Ben unless its 0,0 which is the top lefthand corner  What aircraft do you want it on and where do you want it. I'll add it to one of my panels and post the coords

If you can find an old copy of CfgEdit knocking around (it should still be up on the net somewhere).. you should be able to move stuff around and add new gauges. Only downside with it is that it doesn't handle XML gauges but it can still be used for placement

Just open the required bmp in M$ paint and hold the mouse over the point you want the top left corner; the coordinates are displayed at the bottom.

Cheers
