And what happens if we end up with something like the Falklands War again?
If the shareholders of the PFI supplier decide their 'investments' (the tankers) are at risk and withdraw them, what price our 'National Defence'???
It'll be '617 Squadron PLC' next.............

There has to come a time when they will need replacing but what with?
Be interesting to see if it will be a new aircraft (one already in production) or off to the Nevada desert to pick a couple from the graveyard there!!

Its g to be Rejiged Navada ones. What will be interesting is to see how many a/c they can refule at once. Don't fance doing that with two big turbulent fans on the wings

Are there really any A 330s which have been put out to grass? I understood that the idea was to buy recent ones from the likes of Emirates as they upgrade their fleets?
