Definately Not for the Squeamish!!!

Post by Nigel H-J »

They say things happen in threes' and I for one can now vouch for that!!

First it was the computer!

Then on Saturday we got back from our weekly shop, my wife went to the back garden then shouted for me to come quick.................The fish pond had sprung a leak and there was only a few inches of water remaining, fortunately our next door neighbours' niece has a pond with no fish and she readily agreed to take them in!!

I then thought to myself well.......it can't get any worse.......can it?

WRONG!!

Today I set about digging up a few tree stumps in the garden using my trusty tool...............

After removing a couple I decided to head for the kitchen and make a cup of coffee and on reaching the door I just dropped the my trusty tool down on the ground then something made me look down..................Oh sh*t

We have one tortois and my wife is very found of it..................unfortunately I did not realise it was where it was..............It was horrible, really horrible..........for on looking down I saw that I had beheaded it!!!! :crying:

Just don't know how to tell the wife.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
