Looking good Steve. What a long line-up of repaints at your high level of detail. Keep it up. Is worth waiting for these super little gems.

Looks terrific !! Forgive my Canberra ignorance, but why has that one got two pilots ? Was it a dual-control training version ?

Yes, Hence the T.4 Designation.

Ah ok, thanks Jon. I'm only familiar with the single seat cockpits and the PR9 one.

Cheers for the feedback gents, its been a pleasure painting them and I am looking forward to doing some more, perhaps along the lines of a raspberry ripple and the red/grey/white trainer schemes.
Paul, yes indeed, these are the T.4 types with pilot and instructor side by side, not that dissimilar to the old Mossie (which it was designed to replace). Anyone who has sat in one will know how cramped the single seat version is, so you can only imagine it with two blokes up front. It would by guess that if there was an emergency, the nav was only going out through the top hatch via his seat, given that the main entrance would have been blocked by second seat up front (even with its swivel mounting).
I bet you a fair few pilots were trained on these at some point...anyone on here by chance?

Unfortunately I heard allot of stories from my brother about the crampiness of the Canny and the lying down position he had as navigator on the B2's in the RRAF (Rhodesian Air Force) way back when. Ergonomics were certainly never thought about when designing the Canny, but it did get the hearts of many who flew her for her ruggedness and potent RR Avon motors.
