Hi.
I've had the AGP flavour in my machine for a couple of weeks now, and it's a great improvement over my 9600XT. But if you're looking for FSX performance, I'd invest in more CPU power. SP1 doesn't seem to have worked out really...
The best option is always to wait a bit longer...

Thanks James, FSX isn't on the cards for me at the moment. I am still an FS9 man. At the moment I am using an ATI X800, the graphics handle FS9 well, but the card is on the way out so it is time to upgrade.

Good Morning,
Ive got the X1950 Pro 256Mb on PCI-E.
Im very impressed with it myself BUT as other posts of mine have shown; I can't seem to get it to work properly in Vista with FSX.

Hi Guys
I have an ATI X1950 XTX PCIE for sale
(been given a NV8800GTX by a sponsor)
ATI is a sapphire 512 mb GDDR4 card and very fast.
only changing it because i have to test some secret stuff in DX10 soon.
ATI is about 8 weeks old and complete, boxed and perfect.
PM me for price (think it's against forum regs to sell here direct)
Worked perfectly under Vista with FSX & FSX SP1.
(unlike my router

) :crying:
Regards
Rick

Rick I am interested in how that runs FSX. I too have a sponsor provided machine now with 2 x nVidia 8800GTX in SLi. FSX is STILL the pits. Pushed to get 17-20 fps even with modest settings.

I have the same ATI as Rick, very happy, with smooth flying and sharp scenery

Thanks for the offer Rick, but my MB is AGP and not PCI. So I had to go and get myself the AGP version. Compared to my X800 it's amazing.
