Classic British Flight Sim

How do the simulation rates get decided on? I got type-rated on the Argonaut and then realised it was going to take forever to get anywhere on long haul with a relatively slow old bus like the Argonaut at 4X.
Now the York comes along at 8X. So why the difference?

Hi Steve,

I put the sim rates in when entering the plans on FlyNET. My 'standard' sim rate is 4x but as the York is so slow, I upped it to 8x. I'll take a look at the Argonaut routes and see what they look like.
