What bad timing - I saw her twice this week but only from the air, didn't even have a sniff that something was going on. She did look nice though, much more appealing than the A321 I was in.

Maybe it's time for replacing the running banner requesting funds on the front page of CBFS then?

Just a thought...

This is her in the foreground in 1985 onboard G-AWZU. The rest of the crew are wearing the then-current BA uniform.
Toby,

Just for the record, the Captain in that picture is Captain Brian Walsh. He was a Training Captain and I flew 18 Line Training sorties with him when I was on my Command Course on the Vanguard/Merchantman in September 1973.

Not only that, but the photo proves that Jeppessen was already a megalith of terribly taxing and constant updates even back then...

Wonder if Jeppessen uses that photo in any advertising -

"When the last Trident was delivered, Jeppessen Charts helped get it to the right airport."

Leif,

There were a bag of Aerad charts in there somewhere...But we used fresh Company Plogs picked up at briefing for each trip. I never used a real map or chart in the 22 years with the company

amazing that - We are just getting to that with our keen little "electronic Flight Bags" I still get calls from crews that they dont have the plates for the ILS at xyz because the last crew didnt put them back in the Jeppbook.
