Paul,

AFAIK the B-50 has been released. I have a beta of it but I'm pretty certain that it was released to the general public - probably over at the Outhouse. Gnoopey is working on a patch to tweak things on the aircraft a bit. He's been pretty quiet on the B-29/Washington for a while now so I'm assuming that the B-50 is taking priority.

Best wishes
Steve P

...and getting back to the hunter issue. Lowering the price of Alphasim aircraft probably wouldn't induce me to buy more. An F-100 is still an F-100 whether it is £2 or £20. I bought the Alphasim Hunter and think that it is rather splendid. Not throwing DG's away, but whenever I get fed up of wearing Mr B's trousers...

Best wishes
Steve P

Well I took the plunge.. and it's not half bad. A bit pricey perhaps, but not bad all the same.

Do as I do Dano buddy ignore the nit pickers and ARCs. Eventually they go away and carp on another site and we both know there's plenty of them on THAT site.
There's so few of them anyway that they are no loss if they don't come back, but they will they always do.
BTW the Hunter is fantastic and the 92 Sqn and Blue Diamond versions look just great where they belong at Middleton St. George.
i take it THAT site is CBFS?
One shouldn't assume ANYTHING Ukmil. No site is mentioned by name. There are many FS forums out there. In fact it could equally mean your own. :dancer:

Problem is all THOSE different sites are mentioning glaring mistakes missed on payware products

We don't do battles with other groups here, thats not what we are about. The hunter looks quite nice. Think we should all take the lead from DG and give credit were its due. ;-)

Not a complaint (because I have not bought it  ), but an observation. I have not seen a Hunter with just the outer weapons points installed before, it does make that nice blue scheme look untidy. Is that correct?

I must also agree with Ben, we are not here make a 'war' with anybody. I guess that the fact we have some of the best 'experts' on British aviation here, possibly than on any other FS based site, must make any comments a little sharper and harder to take for the developers concerned. Not every release is going to be perfect, but for FSX users it is a perfectly nice looking model and in keeping with current FSX styles. I think (as I prefer the two seaters), I will pass at the moment on the Hunter.

A new T7 may be a temptation though. Perhaps that could be a 'lite' model as about 70% of the design work has already been done.

Can't say I've seen it before, but I quite like it (from certain angles anyway). A bit like a Harrier with all the empty weapon racks. :tonqe:

If anyone would prefer a clean clean Hunter for their Blues just drop Dano a PM or an email. He has dug up another photo of all 9 without the pylons. It seems they did fly with both configs. throughout their life. :) BTW that's straight from the horses mouth.
