That's another difficult colour overall to get to look right........It mustn't be black but has to look like it is and then given some life.

Yoor certainly on the right track....perhaps a little excessive shine but that need to be finally set at the end of the job really *-)

Both of the Martin Baker AC are T7.5 (F8 Tail unit)

which is why they have not been painted

Yes when i looked into this version i saw the differences...and tbh im not a big fan of doing work like this but i thought id just see how it goes initially. :cpu:

Im looking for a little advice if anyone can help please.

From the reference books im using for the Meteors, when painting versions with the yellow trainer bands, the black walkway markings on the upper wings are removed, would anyone be able to confirm this or have photos for reference, it just looks a little plain without them, maybe they was like this but heres a shot with them on for example.

Next one for release...Can we have ever have enough Meteors.... ;)

Probably going to be a 'clean' only as all the photos ive seen of her have been clean and not grubby.

Dear Jason,

Great repaints you have made for this great plane! I wonder if you would make a dutch version?

The Navy version was used to make the transition from the Seafury to the Seahawk and you would make my (and all the other Dutch guys) day if I could fly it.

I can certainly do that version no problem...i have plans to cover non-RAF types so keep any eye on any previews in this thread Douwe-jan ;)
