At risk of minor thread necromancy...
I have both FSX and FS9 installed on my system, 2 FS9 installs (vanilla and Golden Wings conversion), 1 FSX. Most of my modern flying (post-1970) is done in FSX, post-WWII to early jets in FS9 with retro sceneries from CalClassic.com, and pre-WWII in Golden Wings. As more and more of my favorite aircraft become available for FSX I find myself neglecting the other two.
