Hi Dave

Thats why i'm holding off
as 50% of the instruments don't work in the FSX Demo (1 or 2) but more work in V2 of the demo so i am praying hard.

(that and it's only a few days away from release too so might as well hang on and see what happens).

Rest is ok fde/counds etc etc & i can now include a proper generic texture folder instead of bunging the much used stuff into the Main Texture folder so it's sort of good news.

Regards
Rick

If it does not work in FSX, I would not bother too much Rick, it seems that NASA would have trouble getting more than 20 FPS from it!!! .............and it looks so good to have to wait for weeks to be compatable with a sim that nobody seems to have a good word for, at the moment.

Nobody meaning nobody in here or AVSIM. Try reading more forums. SimOuthouse has a lot of tips to get it working well as do several others. Limiting your reading limits getting a good idea because AVSIM is the land of trolls and idiots anymore.

Hi Trev

I'm not too fussed but if i can sort it out in one file it's easier on the webspace and a lot less hassle that patches as no beggar ever reads the instructions

So i'm hanging on for that.

Plus i'm busy with an RAF WWII secret project currently

Rick

BTW.
I noticed your still just a captian in the VA???
why don't you get busy being a do'er instead of jaw jacker
or better yet why don't you model a 780 yourself???
....you think your some kinda "trouble shooter"??
but in reality all you do is go around Shooting Trouble!!!

Rick ... I appreciate what you've done and I can wait
as long as it takes. I'm grateful for what you have released
and thank you for it

Can you translate that into english english??? "land of Trolls and idiots anymore" makes no grammatical sense. It has no connective connotation, 'anymore' in that sense makes that a nonsense and is therefore unreadable in the sense that nonsense is readable only if you subscribe to Lewis Carroll. Anymore means its not going to happen again, I suspect you meant to use the correct word 'anyway' but grammatical laziness and verbal apathy got the better of you. When in Rome do as the Romans do. Therefore it would be nice to be able to converse (albeit by typeface) using correct vernacular. Or, I may be wrong in this case and become an abject outsider in allowing Mr Trott now to dictate how ENGLISH is written, spoken and used. He seems admirably capable of persuading younger less experienced people in other forums that he is a pilot of long standing and flown for airlines as well as running his own airline, these people believe him!!!! Stick to your train set and stop being Walter Mitty.

Learn a little respect, try not to be such an absolute bighead, try not to twist other peoples quotes to suit your own ends to feed your ego and maybe one day people will in turn offer you respect. Respect has to be earned, its not a God given right for a fat rich kid who has everything put on their plate and thinks the whole world owes them a favour. Googling is ok, but to use it to attempt to influence others and make yourself seem brainy is not really the done thing.

Now you know what its like to be 'quoted' and have those quotes twisted as you do to other peoples quotes all the time.

Oh by the way I think I've found your perfect girlfriend

Have a nice day

Hi Guys

I got FSX on Day1.

Hated it almost as much as my McCafee Virus scanner.

After a week of tweaking and finding i have to turn the autogen off to get a good framerate (not stuttery) i was almost happy.

Then i downloaded the Horizon Generation X British Photo Scenery demo.

I love FSX now but will not bother making any FSX only models as currently my PC and many others are too slow.

I will do the same as i did with FS2002 support.

I will develop Hybrid models to work in FS9 & FSX and eventually drop FS9
when the majority of users do the same which has just about happened with FS9.(ie:dropped FS2002) :-$

FSX has some excallent new bits (It also for why? broken bits that did not need fixing)

But generally i can see it's worth for the next 2 or 3 years.

Regards
Rick

The aqueduct?
Viniculture?
Sanitation?
Probably Law and order and a language all could understand at that time.

George Bernard Shaw was probably right when he said "We are two peoples divided by a common language" but he never used 'anymore' out of context.
