Hi George,
If i try and add it via the GUI it goes through the motions, but doesn't add it. I can manually add it to the cfg, but if i try to go there or fly nearby, it crashes to desktop. What spec is your graphics card?

I have the issue with the autogen trees too, but thought it was just me. Haven't had a problem with taxiways though. I'm getting the ferries showing up, but none of the military stuff. And if i take off from Plymouth and head south towards the docks it CTDs so i suspect there is a model, probably Ark, causing that. I've added Traffic toolbox back and I've seen it list Hermes and Intrepid but i haven't actually seen either. That's on a 560ti which I'm sure has 2GB.
Just checked and its only got 1.2 GB

That doesn't bode well for me - I have the GTX560Ti as well - allbeit at a faster than normal GPU speed, it still ojnly has a gig of memory. I hope to be upgrading that and my hard drives in February, though (my 2-yearly upgrade).
I've not had time for any serious testing as yet, just some quick tests to see how some aircraft show up. I still have the nasty halo effect for the airport lights. It was similar in FSX, but as the halos were small it didn't matter so much. Sometimes they would be larger to start with, then reduce to an appropriate size once the textures had finished loading. In P3Dv2 they keep their over-large orbs and it looks a mess.
I guess these things we are finding will be ironed out relatively quickly. At least, compared to MS and DCS 'slack Alice' patching, that is
Except for the hardware related stuff, of course. Think a lot of people will be remembering their FSX performance issues - though we have been well warned with P3D.

Hi John,
I have the faster version of the 560Ti card too. I've not had any problems with landing lights, but the sun looks ridiculous. I have REX installed (REX Plus with OD) which could be fixing my landing lights, but I don't recall having the problem before I installed REX. Definitely a funny with Nav lights though, but only on some models, DG's hunter being one.

George Davison found the problem with missing taxiways..
Problem solved. ADE sets drawSurface="FALSE", this was ignored by FSX but is honoured by P3D. All AFD files need to be modified.

GPU is an old(ish) GTX 480, 1536MB.

Also noticed the FSA client detects P3D2 as Xplane9

I've got the buildings showing instead of trees, too

sometimes just building frames, as well.
I put the autogen to zero, as per photo-scenery s.o.p. and they all disappeared except the ones put there by add-on scenery. So Rev.X wouldn't work in that case.
I am a bit concerned that my UTX Europe scenery is not showing - but then I read recently that the publishers (Flight1? Can't remember now) say they don't want it used with P3D, so that may be why.

Anyone any ideas how to make the VC10 work without crashing. I've changed the sound set back to the original one and get further before it crashes, but it still crashes.
