Thanks Tony; how can I argue with an offer like that ? !

I certainly hope this model attracts the repaint artists. There's some interesting paint schemes on view at airliners.net such as Transocean Air Lines and the Israeli Airforce.

That TAL one is rather nice isn't it! The Pan Am one is not bad either although one version on there appears to be a slightly later version as it has what looks like a radar dome under the nose.

So to have all the fancy engine management stuff we need to buy an expansion pack, making it $56 in all.....hmmm

In fairness, it's a better way of doing things than having to pay for all the systems if you don't want them. I'd love a stripped down C-130 like Captain Sim's, but the systems in it bump up the price to a much higher amount. I couldn't justify paying the amount they ask for something I wouldn't fly 'properly' and to the book.

But I don't think £30 for such a detailed sim is too unreasonable. At the current exchange rates, it's around £47 for the PMDG 747, and £33 for the CS C-130 (up to £75 if you simply wanted to fly a couple of extra models that weren't in the base pack).

And I'd feel much more comfortable paying the £18 for the base B377 pack.

Less than £30 in real money... not too bad to be honest, though she's not really my bag, beautiful looking though :)

Here is one of my attempts taking off with Accu-sim. One engine is on fire and about to be put out by myself as another one is just starting to smoke, luckily I swung around and got her back ont he ground before it all went wrong.

And I thought the Aerosoft Hughes H-1B was tricky! I suppose 3 extra engines don't help... :worried:
