***EDIT***
Actually it loks like the thread has been dleted....which is a shame as I wanted to see what the original poster had to say.....in fact I really do want to know what he has to say........that thread should not have been removed yet. :huf:

Garry..
It's probably like here where a forum member can delete his own post but nothing else. I fear a spot of embarrassment possibly forced the originator to get rid of the thread as he was quite bolshie and the fact he was wrong would have made him look worse
There are ways of doing things.. he could have asked 'Is this right' or as he did, stated 'This is wrong'. A lesson learned

I wonder....though here he could only remove it if no one posted after so I guess a mod may have done it
TBH I feel like joining just to ask why it was removed.
I was really keen to see his attempt to wiggle out of it.
There were many lessons there like which way the flag goes and the need to check before mouthing off..all useful information.
TBH I was not too bothered by the thread as it was quickly shown that it was right as it was.....miffed, irritated and niggled a bit but I would not have asked for it's removal.
I am really quite cross that it was removed without the poster being brought to task.
He didn't even check my read me and use the email to ask about it..just went of on a misconception.
If he had come on thread and even jokingly said
that would have been fine....we could all have had a laugh...no hard feelings on my part...the thread would have said it all.
Like you say Dave there are ways of doing things
This is sneaky and sneaky I don't like.
I hope he reads this

Hi Dan
I take it it's definitely gone.
I can't see it but also I can't see a lot of the pics.......some I can but not others.
Is that because some are uploaded there and the ones I can see are from external host?
But whatever I don't see it anymore.
Thanks for checking

Hi Garry,
The pics issue might just be a cache thing.. it used to happen to me a lot but clears up after a while.
RE the post.. I get this "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."
I will ask the other mods if they know anything and will PM the chap for you IF I can remember who it was that posted the issue!
