Daves B and G; looking at that almost plan-view that Dave B has posted there, the nose shape looks just about spot on, or should I say my own perception of what it should look like. Its subjective, as always, and I know those 3/4 views sometimes distort models - I've seen it before a number of times. Anyway, it looks good ! :)

Thanks on behalf of DG and the team for the comments ;) It really IS a gorgeous model. I could have sat for longer just watching her move and listen to the sounds ;) At the moment, we're using Gary Jones Twin Merlin sounds with a slight tweak. They perform well in FSX with no degradation or distortion in 'Fly By' or when you're sat in the tower doing low passes.

I don't want to build up hopes but I think we're probably too close for preview videos. I's dotted and T's crossed.. that's about the size of it ;)

There's still a few bits to do, but it's mostly there. :)

Should be out by Christmas at the latest, but no promises. :xsmile:

Its a bit rough and ready (the video that is) and its one of the BETA's so the sounds aren't all there, but you'll get the picture :-) 6 minutes or so at 108MB

This is gonna be painful to watch but not as painful as it was for me to get it here. I had no Fraps so had to download it then I found I had no avi converter so had to download one. This then added default 'Claro' cr@p to my browser along with something else I can't even pronounce which added 2 uninstalls and a reboot to remove. I then found it hadn't all gone.. Claro was still there but that's also been killed. Wish I'd not started. A lot of work for 30secs

Oh.. you might want to turn your speakers up :worried:
