That looks damn fine splendid yang mayn :welldone: .

Keep it dead clean if you can though mate,Keith Payne reckons these drones were kept in mint showroom condition
and their ground crews at Llanbedr got pretty miffed when one was shot down.
Move the fuselage roundel back so that it's roughly inline with the end of the jet-pipes too and just ahead of the roundel on the red upper paint was a rectangular white patch(photographic reference point?)each side.

Did you get that stuff I put the link into a PM for you???,you'll see what I mean.

Hi Mark

I got 3 lots of pics from Keith but no PM as of yet mate.

Yep i know about Roundels as they are too big on the wings and the fuselage ones need moving (i placed them on panel line too far forward by mistake after removing from master texture)

Rick

Scroll down the page to find the link.

Those upper wing roundels should be 54" you know,so I'd leave 'em as is matey.

Rick, Like the colour screenshot very much - see you have all of the antennae except the nose & tail S band. Must admit that the nose one was taken off when we put a baby 2.4GHz spike just aft of the nosecone to transmit the TV pictures. When the B&W camera was installed it sat in the landing/taxy light hole, so thats why some photos show it with a chin fairing for the landing/taxy lamp. The fresh air intake around the lamp also moved with it.
Again Very nice - and at such High speed too!!!

Keith

Rick, One more small thing - check the engine intake size - they look a bit small to me - we did have the large dia ones I believe for High Alt flying(?) or was it just for Derwent 9s.

Depends what he's done it as though Keith.
Some of the early U.16's would have had the smaller intakes for the Derwent 8's rather than the later wide ones.
WK800 had wide intakes,the one I've done(WH344 from 1960)had the small ones.
