Thank you very much for the friendly welcome.

I fully understand that a lot of Flightsimmers prefer a "soft" panel without going through a long procedure for the start up. The Bae 146 panel is not really that panel for a quick trip. Nevertheless I've tried to make everything easier with the autostart button (a function I've already used in the ARJ panel since three or four years) and especially the possibility to save everything. This allows you to save the aircraft with everything on and running engines. When you now start the aircraft again, you will discover the panel like you've left it before (saved it) and the engines are also running.

However Tony was also talking about a "lite" version of my panel in the mail he sent me. I've already answered him that this is not possible yet, because of the massive work (every gauge has to be reworked and the navigation instruments, the radios and the autopilot have to be programmed completely new). But I don't want to reject this idea. Making a separate "lite" version is a good idea, but it will take some time. I've currently added the idea to my ToDo list for the next version or an update

I guess it's been a while since the last time I tried one of your panels. I'll have to get a fresh copy and drop it into Mike Stone's RJ85 for ops checking. Thanks for the clarification!

Even with the auto start, there's still a bit of a learning curve to get all of the warning lights out. I'll be digging into the manual more with time. For now, it's time to hit the sack.

On my last job, I wanted to shout RTFM at about half of my customers, so I'd dang well better get the book out myself before I start asking for too much!

I've missed something here too Tom :brick: I've not used the panel on the RJ's as we only have 146's on the VA fleet. Looks like the version I have isn't the latest :roll: For sure, things didn't go according to plan when I last tried it on the Aerosoft 146 and I didn't get on very well with JM's model :think: The 146 has always been known for it's slightly lack-lustre performance and I found JM's model rather too sporty :o I seem to remember one of the VA team having a look at it's FD and found some rather odd things going on there so it was left. This isn't to say the Aerosoft model isn't without it's faults either.. hardly surprising given it is a 2002 release patched for 2004.

A re-visit is required me thinks!

The HJG website http://www.simviation.com/hjg/main.htm now has a dedicated board for the 146. They also show some sweet screenies in the Previews board. I'm definitely looking forward to flying this one. Fingers crossed that they'll produce an American Airlines repaint. ;-)

Brian I will do the AA plane when Jon releases the 200 model I do not think they operated the 300, but if they did let me know and I will get that one done as well ;-)

While your at it Tony.... an original Jersey European and Air UK would be very much appreciated... oh.. and logan air.... and original Aerlingus Communter... Sorry... I'm pushing my luvk again. :kissu:

Aer Lingus Commuter circa 95 already done just no pictures yet, 146 in JEA colours also planned two Air Uk liveries have been completed and previewed, thanks to Garry for help on the textures ;-)
