If we cant all speak our minds in forums then why have them? people will agree and people will disagree, some people will be calm and some people will be agressive, and the list goes on and on and on. People will take things in different context to others and thats life, nothing we can do, we are all individuals. If we are not allowed to voice out our views on forums whoever they are then forums, then should they exsist?, do we want forums only where people are goody-two-shoes and all things on that forums are perfect and you are not able to voice bad things or say things which people will fall out with others over?
Facts are people are allowed to voice their own opinions, and thats where people will agree/disagree, nothing we can do. If people will to throw in their rank and make decision then up to them, the rest will follow, but others will move on. Us as consumers who pay for products, the law states if the product if not up to sale quality then it can be retured, but as we are talking about internet sales then how does that change, i dont know the law on that front. We can do many things, we can make comments, post on forums, email the product manufactures for assistance, etc etc but when posts in threads are ripped up and we are made to feel we are all attacking then thats wrong, if we are not allowed to make out comments to the manufacture then somethings wrong, locking thread is totally crazy for example, banning people to use their work, i could go on and on, but its a big circle which need to be cut down, we all need to mingle along in a way we all get on to a degree.
It wont happen all the time but we can work any issues out surely, commonsense comes to mind.

Dont disagree with any of that, people will have there voice, here there or where ever they can.
Forums are a usefull tool if managed correctly.

Exactly, within the flightsim circle we are all in, locking a thread from a consumer who has taken his/her time and effort to come up with good or bad comments about a product isnt managing correctly surely thou'?

Deary do..
How fast can we fill 5 pages

Any sign of the patch yet??
Michael..
The reference in one of my posts that Alpha might be chucking Brit models because of adverse publicity here (which I said was bo11ocks) was in response to a post made
here by one of the forum members. I've seen nothing on Alpha to suggest this is going to happen (although some posts do seem to have disappeared over there) ;-)
Okey doh.. back on track. Can anyone who's waiting for the patch and keeps an eye on the Alpha forums please post here when it's available. If I see it first, I'll post. This
is after all, what we want

Hmmm
Yes l saw that, l've asked Phil for the source files to look into it and the FS9 wing fold, something not right there at all, there standard tags and animations and should present no issue at all what so ever.
I've offered my services, l've yet to fail on a Max/Makemdl/mdl error or compile failure, pompous ?, perhaps but that is the one thing l know and do really well

, everything else is subjective and open to critism LOL.

I tried to keep my answer on that thread as cnstructive as possible.

Although, I nearly did answer the question "Who else would bring you these three" with, Itosan has done two already.

Ah.. rgr. I'd read that too but not taken the gravity of it in. Rather harsh me thinks.. especially the later remark that British simmers have given Alpha the cold shoulder for too long. Are we the 'you know who you are'?? I guess we must be though I'm not sure I like being tarred with someone elses brush
This year alone I've made 21 purchases totalling £225.29 plus whatever 180.00NZD equates to. If that's to be considered the 'cold shoulder', then I can't imagine what you have to spend to be one of the good guys!!
All this could stop though. If they're only going to produce American and Russian models (with the odd Mirage thrown in for good measure).. I can see me saving money from now on ;-)

Pretty much the point I made Dave.

Yep, don't really need another F-anything (Kirk Olsson or the Iris guys have me covered there) and I'm happy enough with the Mirage's over at Frank's site (including Mr Olsson, again!). I also quite liked the comment about this being the frst quality British cold war jet produced, never realised DG's Hunters were that bad!

I don't want to read anymore or I can see me getting a right tw@t on and posting something over there a little closer to the truth ;-) TBH.. I think folk have a right to complain if they buy something and the nosewheel doesn't work. To say it can and will be fixed misses the point completely. Alpha pride themselves on fixing things in short order and goodho for that but many of the faults shouldn't have been there on the release model. Ticking bits off during development and moving on without revisiting them again in the 'gold' model is pure folly and is the MAJOR reason folk are getting hacked off. I honestly wish they could see this as it'd save them a lot of bad press.
