Hey ho - they did their best. Well done to South Africa...

...but we all know who scored the only try in the final...

...and the ref may want to check his Referee Manual (Rugby) to just confirm his understanding of the obstruction/crossing rules... :D

I think far too many of you chaps were watching using Rose Tinted Glasses tonight.

The guys toe touched the line before he raised his foot and that is classed as being in touch.

By the way, that's not me saying that, but pretty much a quote from Martin Johnston

Ehm no-one scored a try in tonights game, a disallowed try is not a try, just as being nearly dead does not get you into the cemetary

Oh and Pringle, are you bothered now?? ;-)

Cheers

What a beautiful performance from those brilliant lads who were full of pride.

True English lion hearts out there tonight, showed true ENGLISH grit and determination. What a performance. No Habana, no running from South Africa and no sweaty socks past the quarter finals (As expected really!)

Wonder how many people will come out with 'Oh South Africa won it by kicking it' or 'South Africa were the 3rd highest points scorer, 6th highest line out winner, twelvethiet longest name, ninety second tallest squad...... |-) |-) |-) |-) '

Brave performance from the true lion hearts in white, South Africa took the penalties when they needed to, Jonny missed 2 key drop goals.

Wasn't a try, but there were a few dodgy obstruction calls, but in true rugby fashion, get on with it.

Well done you brave brave lion hearts!

Pringle,

Sorry pal, but I find the whole tone of your post bordering on racist. Would you be so quick with the derogatory remarks about an Indian or Pakistani?

Over the years I have heard numerous folks questionning why other nations do not like English folks. You've just nicely highlighted the reason.

Well done to England, from where they were in the group game they have come on massively, just not quite enough on the night.

And congratulations to South Africa.
Like the chap running on the pitch
And jab, the guy isn't funny he's a tosser.

Woah steady on, would you like to explain how I have been racist? That is a huge accusation and without evidence I'm expecting an apology!

I suggest you re-read your post. You'll get no apology from me............I'll leave it to the moderators to decide.
